Hi, I’m Eddie.
I’m a culinary documentarian and editorial food director based in Orlando, Florida. I’m drawn to storytelling, exploration, and the stories that reveal something deeper about the world around us.
My relationship with food began when I was a kid, spending time in my grandmother’s restaurant, where she made and sold the most incredible handmade pupusas. Her restaurant was called La Casita.
Years later, after studying anthropology and film, my lifelong curiosity about cameras and storytelling led me somewhere unexpected: food.
To me, food is sociology, science, history, memory, and emotion. Long before it reaches a plate or a camera, it is something deeply human. It is one of the oldest forms of connection we share.
I’m interested in what food reveals: how it brings people together, carries culture across generations, connects us to the land, and creates meaning in everyday life.
THAT IS WHAT I DOCUMENT.
Through cinematic films, editorial food photography, and documentary-style storytelling, I explore the lives, traditions, and craftsmanship of the people who shape what we eat and how we experience it. From chefs and farmers to ranchers, fishermen, and food artisans, every story offers a glimpse into something bigger than the food itself.
La Casita Stories is my way of exploring those connections and bringing them to life through images and film.
Because behind every ingredient, every dish, and every tradition, there is a story worth telling.
& remember, BIG stories start at La Casita.
